The Final Solution
The Final Solution began in 1941 and was a plan to murder all of the European Jews. After the Nazis rose in power, they organized lots of events such as boycotts, anti-Jewish legislations, "Night of Broken Glass", and "Aryanizations," which all aimed to remove Jews from the German Society After World War II, it was clear that Germany wanted to annihilate European Jews. The Nazis and killing squads began killing entire Jewish communities, after World War II. In 1942 the Nazis began to deport all of the Jews to extermination camps. Extermination camps were established in the Polish territory. These camps were killing centers designed to carry out genocide. There were about 3 million Jews who were sent to these extermination camps. The Final Solution consisted of shootings, random acts of terror, diseases, and starvation, which caused the death of 6 million Jews. There were nearly 2,700,00 Jews who were killed by the German SS and police in the killing centers the Nazis created. There were three killing centers in which they were used for mass murders and gas chambers, occupied by Poland. All of these killing centers became apart of the Final Solution, effecting not only Jews but some gypsies were inferior to the Nazis as well. The Final Solution, an event that occurred after World War II, caused the mass killings of millions of Jews and gypsies. The Nazis, Police, German SS, and most of Germany planned these killings because of their extreme dislike for Jews and anyone who they believed to be associated with them. The Final Solution may have been a winning streak for Germany, but it was a burden on the lives of many Jewish people and gypsies. |
